Oscar is one of the most exciting young talents to emerge in the music industry in years. A multi-talented musician playing piano, bass, drums and his trademark guitar. Now 17 years old, Oscar has built a dedicated global following on social media and wowed audiences with his raw emotional live performances.
 

From street performances, intimate acoustic sets to huge venues with over 60,000 people, Oscar's ability to connect live with his audience stands him out from other artists of his generation.

An accomplished singer-songwriter, Oscar’s compelling persona is matched by his ability to pen authentic songs that tackle the issues facing his generation from the planet, bullying, social alienation and, of course, heartbreak. He independently released his debut EP “THIR13EN" in 2022 and won the prestigious Best Newcomer ("Rookie Artist") of the Year at the Sweden "Denniz Pop" Awards from an industry jury including word renowned producer, Max Martin. In 2024, Oscar appeared on Americas Got Talent reaching the live shows playing his own compositions and receiving high praise from Simon Cowell.

Having spent the last 2 years in studios writing and collaborating, Oscar is now ready to release his new sound to the world with his sophomore EP coming out soon in 2025!

A BIT MORE HISTORY

 

Oscar has been performing since a very young age - singing and playing live since he was 6 years old. He began playing piano at 5 years old and quickly progressed to acoustic guitar, bass, and drums. 

​

Oscar first shared his musical talents at the age of 7 online by covering a wide range of styles and artists from rock, pop to reggae. Famous artists began to young Oscar's original covers including Queen, Aerosmith, Camila Cabello, Calum Scott, James TW, Grace Vanderwall and Guns N' Roses whose posts reached millions. He has built up a strong global following over the years and now has more than 350,000 followers on social media.

Now 17, Oscar has played many historic Swedish venues - playing live to over 1.3M people on Scandinavia's biggest music TV show ("Allsång på Skansen"), at the Circus Arena in Stockholm, in front of 60,000 people for the largest climate concert in Sweden, and was the youngest artist ever to grace the Main Stage at the Boardmasters Festival in UK.

In 2020, he played live for Her Royal Highness, the Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden for her birthday in front of millions of TV viewers. He toured across Sweden to raise money for the mental health charity "Never Alone" and was Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award nominee ("Sweden's Favorite Star"). That same year, he starred in the lead role in Sweden's smash hit kids TV show, "KÄR" with 122 episodes and returned to the TV screen in 2021 starring as Felix in the final series of the popular "Up4Noise".

In 2021/2, Oscar wrote and released his debut EP "THIR13EN" recording all instruments on the EP (except drums). THIR13EN was critically acclaimed and led to Oscar winning Rookie Artist of the Year at the Sweden "DennizPop" Awards, selected from a jury of industry experts including legendary producer, Max Martin. Oscar is the youngest ever to receive the award. Oscar finished his Year 9 education in 2023 and spent much of 2024 writing new songs, collaborating in studios in the UK and Sweden and playing live. This included appearing on Americas Got Talent performing his own songs to successfully reach the live shows. Simon Cowell described Oscar's performances as "brilliant" and that he was a "diamond" in the music industry.

 

Oscar still finds time to do what he loves most - performing on the streets of his home town, Malmö in Sweden.
